A reader magnet is a system authors use to grow their following, and more specifically their mailing lists. Most typically, we put a reader magnet offer through BookFunnel. Then we develop a FaceBook ad that send interested parties to the prize. But even after the FB ad is over, the magnets are generally still there and readers can still get the free copy of whatever was on offer.
